The race marked the beginning of a journey built on research, field testing, and competitions undertaken alongside the team's athletes. Returning to those same trails today means closing a circle and, at the same time, kicking off a new season. For the Fessura team, this event represents much more than a competition. It's where the project took its first steps and where the first footprint was left.
Coming back here after twelve months means measuring the team's growth and the work done along the way.
A year of trail between competitions and development
The first year of the Fessura Trail Running project was built step by step, between competitions, training, and continuous product development. The team's athletes competed in various contexts , testing the technical equipment and contributing their feedback to the evolution of the footwear.
The team returns to Chianti with the new GSR Team , an evolution of the trail model that introduces several technical improvements. The shoe offers greater grip , a new upper that allows greater freedom of movement of the ankle, and a reinforced shell to ensure greater protection and stability . The upper is made of tear-resistant material, designed to increase resistance and durability even in the most demanding conditions.
For Fessura, the trail remains a true moving laboratory. Each race becomes a real test, where performance, stability, and comfort are put to the test on different terrains . It is precisely from direct contact with the trails that the technical solutions designed to continuously improve the product are born.
The Chianti Ultra Trail by UTMB marks the start of the new season for the team. Among the vineyards and Tuscan hills, the athletes will once again challenge technical courses and spectacular views, painting the city purple. We will be by their side to support them in this new challenge, continuing to build a project that focuses on sport, research, and a passion for exercise.
Every step leaves a footprint
