Where the road ends, the ideal terrain for our Trail Team begins. Last weekend, the team competed in several races across different parts of Italy, demonstrating clear superiority and bringing Fessura colors to the highest steps of the podium.
The great return of Giacomo Forconi, who wins after an injury period with a formidable display of strength. For him, a monumental 1st place at the Extreme Trail: 42 brutal kilometers with a staggering 2400 meters of positive elevation gain, dominated from start to finish thanks to simply perfect race management.
Another impressive confirmation comes from theTrail Sacred Forest, where Alessio Donati conquered the top step of the podium over the 50 km (3,000 D+) distance. A performance of pure resilience in one of central Italy's most fascinating and selective natural environments.
MeanwhileMario Maresca conquers Faito, with an extraordinary victory also on the trails of Campania. Mario achieved a splendid 1st absolute place at the Faito X-Trail (21km with 1350 D+). A race run with grit and heart that confirms our athlete's exceptional form.
In the most extreme conditions, shoe choice is crucial for making a difference in performance. On this weekend's terrains, our athletes could rely on the reactivity of the GSR Team, the new version of Fessura's trail running model, capable of gripping the ground and ensuring total stability even on the most slippery single tracks.
SPEED ON THE ROAD: THE CLOCK REWARDS THE TEAM
From mountains to asphalt, the script remains the same. The geometric precision and energy return of the Race 01, a plated shoe, set the pace in road races, bringing Fessura colors directly to the highest steps of the podium.
Stefano Massimi was unrivalled at the Run&Smile, with an unsustainable pace for his opponents, he forcefully claimed 1st absolute place in the 10 km, confirming himself as an unbeatable sharpshooter and a total reference point for fast distances. Completing the celebration at Francesco Cacciatore and Giorgio Lampa. With two masterful performances in the same 10 km race, they secured an excellent 5th and 6th absolute place respectively, certifying the compactness and quality of the group when it's time to push on the asphalt.
Nunzio Gabriele dominated theNotturna di Guardiagrele. He literally flew through the 10 km of the picturesque city race, achieving a beautiful victory and a well-deserved 1st absolute place.
Caterina Corti, queen of endurance, a monumental performance combining kilometers, mind, and heart. Conquering the women's podium by winning the 6ore del Donatore and taking 1st place in the marathon distance (42 km). A masterful pace management that highlights our athlete's extraordinary endurance.
